How do digital dog training services work?
Private Sessions and Group Classes can be attended via Zoom. Your trainer will take a thorough history and talk you through the behavior problems you are experiencing. You will be given specific managment, enrichment and training protocols that meet your needs with trainers providing demonstrations and coaching through necessary steps. Our innovative Trainer In Your Pocket service provides support between sessions or classes.
What are the benefits of digital training?
Digital Training benefits both the dogs and their humans! Affordability, convenience, and worldwide accessibility makes it attractive to the humans, and the Trainer In Your Pocket service provides unique support which can significantly impact success in a training plan. For the dogs, the low stress learning format can be key to seeing the behavior change - particularly with young, distractible puppies, and dogs with complex fear and aggression concerns.
My dog is fearful or aggressive, will digital training still work?
For many fearful, anxious, or aggressive dogs digital services provide a low stress, safe learning environment where guardians can practice and receive guidance without triggering unwanted stress for their dog. As with many behavior problems, guardians may need to set up learning situations for their dogs with their triggers outside of the class setting.
But don’t you have to see the dog to train it?
Actually, no! Dog training is really just human training: teaching guardians how to bring about behavior change in their canine companions. We focus on showing you - the guardian and caregiver - how to understand and communicate with your dog. Results from our hundreds of clients worldwide have shown that you can provide all the information, coaching and support needed to effect behavior change through digital services.

What about outdoor behavior problems like leash walking?
All learning should begin in low distraction environments, where the dog and human can be focussed and responsive. Some clients then choose to take their sessions outside on their phones, but most will then video themselves practicing their exercises in increasingly distracting environments and access trainer feedback via the Trainer In Your Pocket service.
